Success!

Dinner last night was a HUGE success. I halved the recipe for the apple salad just in case we didn't like it but we ended up eating it all! Pat asked me if I'd make another batch today haha. The steak turned out amazing, too. For the vegetables, I omitted the mushrooms and onions since they were in with the steak. They were pretty good, but I think I might add more Italian dressing next time. All in all, it was awesome!

Tonight I'm not cooking because I'll be at Ryan and Becky's going away happy hour. So sad to see them move. I'm hoping that our bond is strong enough to maintain a good friendship even through the distance. They'll be back to visit since Ryan has family here, including his dad, and we may even see them at Christmastime in Michigan!

I've been very lazy with reading lately. I'm determined to get alot of Eat Pray Love read today so that I can move on. It's pretty good, but I'm reading about her part in India right now and there's not alot of action. Hopefully it will pick up some more when she gets to Bali!
