I can't believe it's Christmas time already. This year has flown by so fast!!! It seems like we just celebrated Christmas and here we are again. This Christmas is very weird though. Shawn and I are going through a divorce and so it's really weird not shopping for him or putting up the Christmas tree and all the decorations. I've been staying at my parents house for a while now and I've moved all my stuff out. It's very hard to go backward in life. I mean this is obviously for the better, what is happening with me and Shawn, but it's hard to go from being independent (of my parents), living on my own, in my OWN house, etc. and then having to swallow my pride and move back into my parents. Not that they are horrible to live with, but it's just weird. Not to mention that I am living out of boxes, which totally blows. It's just depressing altogether.

BUT, the good news is, that I am moving!!! My friend in Vegas hooked me up with a teaching job! They said I could start at the beginning of the semester after New Years but I can't move that fast. So I guess it depends on when our court date is as to when I can move. But I'm really excited to start my life in a new place and not have to deal with SNOW or ice anymore! I just can't believe that I got a teaching job so easily. I mean I haven't interviewed or anything yet, but the person that my friend Joey knows basically guaranteed me a job asap. Apparently they need like 1200 teachers in the district right now. So that's cool. It gives me a little boost of confidence I guess. Much different than sending out 80 resumes here and not getting a single phone call. :(

So that's my life in a nutshell lately. I can't wait til Chrissy comes home. I haven't seen her in soooo long!
