The school year is finally coming to an end. THANK THE LORD. This has been the toughest year of my life, teaching so far. I feel like I have aged ten years. Once July comes and I am done with my masters, and I'm on break, I'm really not going to know what to do with myself. I'll probably just sit in my room and cry because I'll be so happy. There are only 9 1/2 days left of the year. However, I only have to work 5 1/2 more days. SCORE! Pat and I are going to Hawaii and I will be missing 3 days of work. I can't wait. I plan to be as tan as my skin will allow and do nothing but lay on the beach or by the pool. We booked our hotel at this really awesome place. The grounds are HUGE and it has an awesome pool, tons of restaurants, a dolphin exhibit and more. My friend Kim recommended it to me as she has been there a million times, given that she grew up in Hawaii. She showed me pictures the other day from their last stay there and it looks sweet. I booked a couples massage the second day we are there so hopefully that will set the tone of relaxation. We both could use one of those big time. I'm so happy Pat is able to take some time off of work to turn this wedding we are attending into a vacation. He definitely needs time away!
Another piece of good news is that my family is coming in two weeks for my graduation! YAY! My parents, grandparents, and my aunt will all be here and all staying at our house. It will be packed! I still haven't figured out sleeping arrangements but it will definitely help having an extra bedroom. Robbie and Buster might have to sleep in the garage! haha.
I am also going home three times this summer. I'm going once in June for Missy's sisters wedding, another in July for my friend Dana's wedding (in which I will also be visiting Jodi in Toronot!), and in August for my grandpa's 80th birthday party. So I guess when I said I won't have anything to do after July, I was lying. There are a couple more trips planned as well, like San Diego in August and Cancun in October. Cancun is a work trip for Pat and I just get to go along for the ride. I am also going to go to LA a few times to lay on the beach at Missy's. Girl time sounds awesome right now :)
