It's been quite a while since I've been around for a tornado warning! I'm currently sitting in the basement with my family listening to the crazy weather outside. I love thunderstorms but this is kind of scary. I even heard the tornado sirens going off in the city!
Well I had a great visit with my family when they were all in Vegas. Buster was really sad to see everyone leave. Pat and I didn't do too much over the weekend but rather tried to enjoy some quality time together. Friday we went to his sisters graduation from high school and then headed to his parents for some family time. Saturday he had a book study with his work team at his house and then opened it to a bbq later for the UFC fight. We sat by the fire alot, which was fun since we haven't done that in awhile. Sunday we went to breakfast downtown and headed to the Golden Nugget pool for a bit. Then last week I attended a graduate level class at UNLV along with my school district about energy. My brain was fried after that was over with. We had class everyday from 8:30 to 3 and then homework each night and a project due Friday. It was torture. But, I will get paid a pretty good chunk of change for it so it will be worth it.
Friday night I flew to Michigan on a red eye and attended Sara's wedding on Saturday. It was beautiful and very classy. She looked gorgeous and she seems really happy! I wish them all the best :) After the wedding we went back to Jackie's house and hung out for a bit. Me, Robbie, and Missy stayed up pretty late as our clocks are three hours behind the eastern time zone. It was fun hanging out. I woke up in the morning to Sydney staring at me because I was sleeping in her room. Haha. She's so cute! We played for awhile Sunday morning until I left to go home. Sunday afternoon we had a bbq at my parents and invited my grandparents over. We celebrated Father's Day, my grandma's birthday, and my grandma-great's birthday. She's 96 years old! How amazing! The rest of my time here has been spent just lounging around and running errands. It's been wonderful!
