I suck

I have come to the realization that I absolutely suck at blogging this year. I have no time ever and when I am home I never think to. I will try to do better.

I had a wonderful visit with my mom over the last week. She came in last Thursday and just left last night. I haven't cried that much since I moved. I think with everything that happened with my dad it makes me terrified to say goodbye to my parents. :( But, we had a great time! We, well I should say more she, cleaned my house so good. We got the carpets cleaned upstairs and they look awesome!!!!! I'm so happy she suggested we get that done. The guys also offered to clean the two area rugs downstairs for free. Thank goodness because the last time we tried to clean the rug it turned into a giggle fest and my arms and back hurt for days. Friday night I think we passed out at like 10 and we shopped all day Saturday. Sunday we went to church and then ate at Robbie's restaurant. Omg it was really good. Robbie ordered for us so we each had soup - mom the clam chowder and I had a garlic crab (I think? or lobster?), then mom had the halibut and I had the rainbow trout. I'd never had trout before and it was really good! Then we summed it up with a yummy dessert of chocolate pudding and brownie and mini toasted marshmallows. yummmmm. Monday I didn't see a whole lot of my mom because I worked and then had class. Boo. But Robbie got to spend the day with her. Tuesday we had steak and lobster at Sedona and then shopped at Target and just hung out the rest of the night. Wed she came into my classroom for the afternoon and hung out with my students. One of my little boys just LOVES her so when he saw her in the lunchroom when we went to pick them up he hopped over tables and ran up to her and gave her the biggest hug ever. It was really cute. I'm excited to see my mom AND my dad in 6 weeks. They're coming out here for my graduation along with my aunt and possibly my grandparents. It's going to be so fun! They're coming the week I get out of school for summer break so I will be relaxed and not have to go to work OR class. WOO WOO!!!!!!

Tonight I took Buster for a walk almost to Pat's house. I think it's 2 miles one way and so I figure we walked a little over 3 miles. By the time we were heading home, Buster and I were pooped. He even stopped a few times and took a rest. It was hilarious. Then I gave him a bath and he was so disgustingly dirty. I couldn't believe that! I guess we should bathe him more often!!!!!!
