June 2nd can't come soon enough. I am SO ready for a break, as I believe everyone else at my school is as well. This year has been so stressful and overwhelming. I never feel accomplished at the end of any day. I had a horrible day today. However, it became extremely better after reading an email from a parent. It actually had me in tears (in a good way). Sometimes its just helpful to be reminded of why I became a teacher :)
I'm rather excited about our 3 day weekend coming up. Tomorrow we have staff development and I actually do not have to present! Yay! So I just get to show up and listen. We also have time to work in our rooms so I have everything in piles on my desk, ready to be tackled. I'm hoping it will be a productive day! I think Pat and I, and maybe Ryan and Becky are going to go to Cafe Chloe this weekend. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We haven't been there in awhile! We tried to go when my parents were here but they were closed.
I just have to be mushy for a minute and just say how extremely happy I am. I thank God every day for all that he has blessed me with, especially Pat. I never knew that love could be this much fun and this fulfilling. I laugh every single day and thinking about Pat puts a huge smile on my face. I hope that this feeling lasts forever. I think it will. I know that we have something very special and very rare. :)
