Merry Christmas!

I can't believe it's been like 3 weeks since I've posted anything. I have been so busy I never have time to do anything for myself. This time off has been great! Today I reorganized the garage and storage area in my house. It was a much needed project and I feel great that it's done!

Anyway, I had a wonderful Christmas! We had our annual Christmas party on Dec 18. It was a lot of fun, even though alot of our friends were out of town already. Trina and Helen came this time and it was a blast to party with them! My parents came in the night of the 20th and stayed until yesterday morning. It was awesome having them here! I love when they come to visit. We did lots of shopping and relaxing and hanging out. I had THE BEST Christmas ever and got completely spoiled rotten. My parents gave us way too much and their gifts are always so thoughtful. I told my dad before about needing a dvd player in my classroom so they got me that. I got some gift cards, too, which is always nice! Pat, of course, spoiled the crap out of me! He bought me two pieces of jewelry from Tiffany - a huge chunky silver bracelet and the chain link invisible clasp choker. He also got me the "LOVE" keychain featured in Sex and the City that I have been wanting so bad. I can't believe he got it. It's very cute and thoughful! Then, to top it all off, he got me a new watch, that we both have had our eye on for over a year. We went shopping at the outlets and the Tag store was having a HUGE blowout on my watch so he decided it would be the perfect time to get it. Lucky me :) It's so pretty! Lots of diamonds!

My family and I went sledding on Sunday to Mt. Charleston. We had a blast. My parents were like kids again. They both went down the hill and were cracking up. We didn't sled too long cuz Pat injured himself so we left, rather than leave him to sit in the snow. We had lunch at the Lodge, which was totally cute, and took lots of pictures. I love it up there!

Now I am going to thoroughly enjoy the rest of this week that I have off from work and school. I'm definitely getting in some much needed r and r!
