This school year has been so much fun so far. Everyone is in high spirits and getting along really well. I'm trying to get alot of social things going to boost morale and make work fun. I started football pools this week and actually had a really good turnout! About 15 teachers participated, which surprised me since I passed out the sheets on Wednesday! That'll be a nice pot to win $30 Monday :)

Today when I came in, I saw a certificate in my mailbox from my principal. She is so awesome. It's a certificate for a dessert and coffee at a local restaurant. It read something about "thank you for being a positive part in your learning community." It's a simple gesture but those things go a long way!!! She also gave me two tickets to tomorrow's UNLV / Oregon game for helping out with things. Pat and I planned on going anyway so that was a good bonus! LOL

Tonight we are going out to dinner with his parents for Pat's and his mom's birthday. His mom wants to go to Cafe Chloe and I am so excited. I freaking love that place so much. Each bite is like heaven. Then tomorrow we are tailgating and going to the game and Sunday is our first football party of the year! Woo woo! I'm super excited because Dana and Travis and Michelle are coming too and I'll have girls to talk to now :)
