I HATE MOVING

Today has just been a wonderful day. NOT. I woke up super late today and didn't sleep well last night. Then I get into school and am told "guess what?! your new classroom is ready so you'll be moving today!" Thankfully I started packing up some stuff yesterday but the majority of it was not done. I just had all my kids grab and go. It was pure chaos but it was all moved in record time. They were all happy to help out but they just dropped random crap everywhere and nothing was where it was supposed to be. I started to freak out a little bit but then just went to work. My AP let me show movies all day today so the kids did that while I put things back where they go. I got everything put away and even got one bulletin board back up. Go me! My nails are all chipped and broken tho and my feet hurt like a bitch. If my principal ever asks me to move again I'm going to say no! I hate hate hate hate moving!!!!!!!!!

On a good note, only 3 1/2 more weeks of school and then I am off for a week. I decided during that time that I'm going to surprise my parents and go home. I was able to use miles and cash to pay for my ticket so it's way cheap. I can't wait. I am so homesick I cry almost everyday. This weekend EVERYONE in my dad's extended family will be together for an anniversary bbq for my great aunt and uncle. I have family flying in from all over the place, yet I won't make it. It would be great to see everyone again :( I am excited, however, to have a girls night sleepover at Jackie's when I go home. Missy will be home too that same weekend so we are going to hang out at Jackie's house. I can't wait to see Sydney!!!!!!!!

Tonight I am babysitting my friend's newborn baby. I can't believe they are already trusting me to babysit. She's less than 2 weeks old! They're just going to the movies so it won't be too long. Besides I'm sure she'll sleep the entire time! haha.

I'm also looking forward to Friday because Pat and I are going to an event at the Wynn. Drinks first at XS, then Le Reve show, then back to XS. I've never been to XS so I'm super excited, plus I love going to see Cirque shows (although Le Reve isn't technically Cirque but it's that type of show). It should be a really fun night! Plus, Saturday a bunch of my girlfriends are having a girls night for our birthdays in July. Woo woo!
