What a bizarre weekend I had. First of all, it rained almost the entire weekend. Not like all day and all night but it rained in spurts and it was really really weird. Friday night was our school carnival and we had been promoting it like crazy with the kids. It looked like it was going to rain all day and sure enough it started, like 20 minutes before the carnival was supposed to begin. We somehow managed to move all of the outside games inside in a matter of a few minutes and the carnival was quite a success. I overheard that the projection was twice the prophet of the year before! Pat, his friend Jeremy, and I worked the Rock Band station. We had a blast. The kids loved it. The best part of the night was when one of my students from last year asked Pat if he gets in bed with me and does it old fashion style (with hand motions, I might add). Pat was so incredibly embarrassed but it was funny as shit. After the carnival we just went to a local bar where one of his guys was working. I ended up getting into an argument with the guy because he is the biggest douchebag ever and he pissed me off royally. Saturday night a bunch of us went out to Red Rock and hung out at Zowie Bowie again. We always have fun there. Tiffany and Dan came out too, which was really fun. I don't see them too much! Sunday, Pat and I had vodka for breakfast and continued drinking ALL DAY long. We went to dinner at this awesome restaurant with Jodi and her sister. It was one of the best and most fun dinners I have ever had. The food was amazing. We then somehow managed to go out Sunday night too and went to Pure later in the evening. By that point I was toast. Then Monday we went to a bbq at a park with Pat's work people and froze our asses off. I took Bruce and he played with Jeremy's two boston terrier's. It was cute watching them play. Then we layed around and napped the rest of the day until Jodi, Mike and I went to the movies. We saw "What Happens in Vegas." It was cheesy but really cute. I love watching movies that take place in Vegas.
I volunteered to drive home with Jodi this weekend. I couldn't bear the fact that she would be alone. I think we'll have alot of fun but it's a LONG drive to do in a short period of time. We're leaving Thursday after work and hopefully will be there late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. I sure hope that's how it works out because I have a flight that leaves Detroit on Sunday evening! I can't believe she's actually leaving. It's going to be so weird living alone again and so weird to not have her here. I cried all weekend about it already so I can't imagine what's going to happen when I have to say good-bye! :(
