I can't wait to be done with work in a few days. I have MAJOR spring fever. I got a new student today that's bipolar. I hope he doesn't go Britney on my ass. No, actually he seems really nice and I was told he's very polite and smart. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I also got observed today. It went really well until one of my girls announced that there was a "cock-A-roach" under her desk. Then it went chaotic. I just stood there and shook my head and my asst. principal started laughing. I hope he truly found humor in that. To be honest with you though, and this sounds bad, I don't care what he says. I know I'm a good teacher and my kids get their shit done so whatever. I'm done worrying about it. I know that's my last observation of the year though so now I can RELAX!
I had a pretty good weekend. We stayed in all weekend. Sunday was the best day by far. Jodi and I went to Pat's house and the three of us got drunk, had LOTS of laughs, and went shopping. It was the funniest thing EVER. We were STARVING and all Pat wanted was Boston Market. I didn't think they had it out here but I looked it up anyway and it said there was one inside a grocery store nearby. So we drove over there only to find out that they sell pre-packaged BM foods. Sick. Instead, we decided to wolf down an entire loaf of bakery bread with spicy mustard in the store, and bought a few more random things. I died over laughing on Monday when I saw our purchases. haha. Then we went to a home decor store and got Pat some really cool shit for his house. It was reasonably priced too so we did ok. I love drunk shopping. Especially with Pat because he's hilarious.
We also played Rock Band all weekend long. It is so much fun and SO funny. Jodi and Pat fight over who is singing and my favorite is the drums. I feel like a true rock star. I'm trying to convice my mom to buy it when I come home. She'll love it.
Other than that, nothing else is really going on. I'm getting super excited to go on our Cali trip next weekend. I hope we can go to the beach. I'm dying to go. I think a SD trip needs to happen soon. I wish interest rates would stop dropping so Pat and his dad would buy their place out there. I want them to have it for the summer! How cool will that be?!
