TGIF

I'm sorry I can't think of a more clever post. My brain is totally fried. I worked three days this week and I'm exhausted. My kids were super cute when they came in this morning. They all made me this big sign that said "Welcome back." They all wanted to give me hugs too but I had to shoo them away so they wouldn't get sick. Now I have this sinus thing going on and I sound like I'm underwater. It's annoying.

Last night was the first night I've hung out with Pat since last Saturday. I've stayed home everyday this week cuz I've been sick and he's been working really late. Granted, he would swing by in between appointments and bring me things or just say hi, but we haven't relaxed or just hung out for an extended period of time in awhile. His friend flew into town last night to work on a HUGE business deal. They're pretty sure it's going to go through. I'm so proud of him! He works so hard and I love to see his success :)

Tonight I think we're gonna go out to dinner and tomorrow is party night. Some of Pat's other friends are in town for the night, but Tiffany's birthday is tomorrow so Jodi and I are gonna celebrate with her for a bit at VooDoo and then hit whatever bar Pat and his clan are at. I hope I don't get sick again. I'm just annoyed at being cooped up!

Just an FYI - I hate the DMV. I just took Jodi there to try and register her car for the 50th time and some douchebag gave her wrong information and tried to turn her away. Thankfully we are smarter than that and we went to someone else. The first guy was such a dick.
