Pet Peeves Are Annoying

I don't know what my deal has been lately but I've been SUPER annoyed at the dumbest things. Everyone and everything annoys the crap out of me and I just want to jump off the side of a mountain. Ok, well not really but maybe just climb the mountain and chill out away from everything for a bit. I think it might help to just get it all off my chest right now so maybe I can move on. Therefore, here are the things that annoy me.

1. People that talk about money and how much of it they make. I DON'T CARE and I'M NOT IMPRESSED. In fact I think you're a douchebag

2. People that are cheap. It's one thing if you don't have the money to do something, but if you do and you're a tightwad, that's annoying.

3. Automated calling systems (especially when hitting zero doesn't take you to an operator!)

4. Lawmakers that make up ridiculous laws about education and have spent ZERO time in a classroom.

5. Places that have tip jars that aren't a restaurant.

Ok so when I was thinking about this post it seemed like there were ALOT more, but my brain is fried right now so I can't think of any others. But these are the latest things that annoy me.

On a positive note, I had a pretty decent weekend. Friday night a bunch of us went to Mandalay Bay to hang out. Pat's business buddy that was in town is a pretty avid gambler so he wanted to gamble. Just about everyone but me and Jodi gambled and we ended up staying out until 6:30 am. The funniest was when we all decided to play craps and only like 2 of the 5 or so people playing knew what they were doing. The others just kept putting chips down and their bank roll kept growing and growing. It was pretty entertaining, I must say. On our way home, we stopped at Robertos, the mexican joint, and I was gonna cook everyone's burritos again, but since I've been sick I decided that probably wasn't the best choice.

Saturday me, Pat, and his buddy went shopping. We stopped at Fat Tuesday first and that's always a disaster. It was super fun though. We didn't last long into the night though. Pat's two other friends drove in from LA and we had all made this big elaborate plan to go out Sat night but Pat and I ended up calling it a night pretty early. Oh well. We only got like 3 hours of sleep on Friday so I know it was the right call to not repeat the process on Saturday.

Yesterday was a blast. Me, Pat, Jodi and Jimmy all went to breakfast at Hash House a Go-Go. I'm not sure if that's a chain or not but it was DELICIOUS. Their portion sizes are ridiculous. We had a lot of fun at breakfast and had some pretty funny conversations. Then we came back to our place and watched Norbit. OMG that is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it, you need to. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Well that's about all I have to report. Conferences start tomorrow and I'm super excited....not. I HATE conferences and I have to stay at school until 8:00 tomorrow. Yippee. I'm sure I'll have another few pet peeves to write about when I get home!
