I'm Bored

You know, it's so weird because when I'm working, I look forward to my track breaks. But after a few weeks off on break, I look forward to going back to work. It's been nice having this time off so far but I've found myself getting extremely lazy. I oversleep everyday so I'm always feeling lethargic. Isn't that weird how that works out? I could down the hours until everyone else gets off work so I can have someone to at least talk to. Mike's on track break right now too but I'm mad at him so I'm not gonna hang with him. I have one week left on break and then I start the new school year. I'm really nervous/anxious. I went into school on Friday and a bunch of kids that I have no idea who they are said hi and they wished that they could be in my class. It was sweet, but I'm like who are you??? haha. I got my class list and as of right now I have 31 students. That's 7 more than what I had at the end of last year. That's a HUGE difference. And of these 31 kids, I have 3 learning disabled students, 1 that has had seizures, and 1 that is emotionally disabled. I know that it's my job as a teacher to do my best to teach these children everything that my other kids are learning, but I'm going to have to do ALOT of modifications for them. It's gonna be a stressful year.

So I think my new nickname should be exterminator. I don't know what is going on but our apartment is being invaded by hoppy bugs. I HATE BUGS. I have the apt people come and spray every Friday and they somehow still survive. Just this morning I killed 6 of them - yes 6. And one of them was I swear the size of my hand. Hoppy bugs are the worst too because you never know where they're going to hop to when you spray them down. Jodi's dad got us the sweetest bug spray ever. You just spray a little on the bug and in less than a minute the little guy is belly up. I feel like I'm in the movie Arachnophobia though because I am so paranoid that everywhere I look there's gonna be a bug. I even feel itchy. I hope that it's all because of the change of season because I cannot live in this apartment much longer if we keep having to kill bugs everyday!
