Yesterday I officially turned 26 and I have to say that it was probably the best birthday day I've had. I had to work, which I was not looking forward to, because I NEVER work on my birthday. But it ended up being so much fun. My kids came into school showering me with gifts and cards and all kinds of birthday hugs. It was VERY sweet. I got some cool stuff too, like hoop earrings, a pink Hollister shirt, a jewelry box, candles, bath stuff, and flowers. So lunch time came around and when I walked back in my classroom to put my things back before getting my kids, they all jumped out and yelled SURPRISE! I didn't know what was going on. Apparently they snuck into the building when they were on recess and had the principal let them into the room so they could decorate it. It was so awesome. I was just blown away at how thoughtful they are. Made me feel very special. :)
After work, me, Jodi, Mike, Brett, Angie, and Jimmy went up to this sushi place for happy hour. We ate a ton, drank a ton, and had a fantastic time. Then Mike suggested we go bowling for awhile so we did. I think I may have bowled my best game ever or pretty close to it. It was amazing. I love bowling. Jodi and I are thinking about joining a bowling league for the fall.
Saturday is my big birthday party. I have to say that I love it when my birthday comes around. I'm really excited for Saturday. I think we're gonna have ppl over for a bit and then go out. Not sure where yet tho. But either way I know it'll be a good time!
