Recovering

Well I must say that I have done my fair share of "partying" for a while. I've been on vacation from school for a week already and I don't feel like I've officially relaxed yet. I got home from Cali last Monday and have had things planned everyday. My friend Cecilia and I went and had a beauty day and got pedicures and facials. Both were incredibly awesome. We went to the beauty school since it's cheaper and I had a man that did my facial. He was so hot too. At first I felt kind of uncomfortable but I managed to relax and actually enjoyed it. He was very good with his hands - haha. Anyway, over the weekend, Marci was in town visiting Tiffany so I hung out with them alot. Friday I met them at the Hard Rock pool and Dan and his buddy came up from work to join us. I hadn't been to that pool before and it was awesome. We had so much fun - a little too much fun actually. After the sun started to die down, we all went home and took naps and then went out that night to Ghostbar. I love that place so much. It was hella windy outside and being 60 floors up didn't make it any better. but it was still fun. Some douchebags started jumping on the plexi-glass floor on the balcony and one of the bouncers made him stop immediately after telling them that the floor had actually shattered in November. Nice. Anyway, so we had alot of fun and didn't end up getting back to Tiffany's house until 5am. It's been awhile since I've had one of those nights. I stayed at their house since I did NOT feel like driving back home. Everyone started getting up again at like 10 and was ready to go out and do it all over again! I thought they were nuts! But we made friends with one of the bouncers at Ghostbar and he hooked us up for the pool at the Palms the next day. So we were all excited to go. The pool there is NUTS. I felt like I was at the playboy pool. Two chicks even had a chicken fight and managed to pull each others tops off immediately before fighting. It was quite entertaining. So anyway, we hung out there pretty much all day until the sun went away again. They all went home to take naps again before going out, but I went to Cecilia's to dye Easter eggs with her kids. It was quite humorous. I haven't done it in awhile and it was fun. I was practically falling asleep tho after we were done, so I came home and took a nap thinking I would be ok to go out that night. But, I was wrong. I was just exhausted. Tiffany said they were going out but I just had no energy to get up and get ready. Thank God because apparently they went out to Tangerine and stayed out til 6am. Cripes! Sunday I got a little sad because I wasn't with my family, but after talking to my mom and hearing how it was 30 degrees outside, I was thankful to be here in the warm sunshine. It was actually a perfect day outside on Easter! I got up and went to church and could barely find a place to sit because it was so crowded. It was a good service. Then I went to Cecilias and had dinner with her family. They're so funny. Instead of the traditional ham dinner, they decided to go Mexican and make fajitas and carne asada. It was sooooo good. The kids all did an Easter egg hunt and every year all the adults chip in some $ that they put in the "silver egg". Whoever finds it gets to keep the cash. Well Cecilia's youngest, Teagan, who is 18 months found the egg. It was really cute.

Anyway, this week is gonna be nuts because I'm trying to recover from this weekend and then I'm leaving Wed for Boise. I'm SO excited to go. I haven't seen my cousin Steven for like 3 years and I'm also really excited to see Tiffany's baby, Ava. I saw her last year when I was home for a long weekend but now it's almost a year later and her age is so much fun now. So I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh, some good news I got today was that my principal said that as of right now she's not planning on making me switch grades next year! I was starting to get so nervous with downsizing our school but even tho she said nothing is set in stone yet, she's got no plans tomove me. WAHOO!!!!! That would seriously suck so bad to have to switch. I mean I guess if I went to 3rd or 5th it wouldn't be too bad because I could still take some of my 4th grade stuff an adapt, but i'm really looking forward to next year and changing some things and seeing how much better next year will be than this year!!!
