A Relaxing Weekend

I'm still in shock about getting my job. Seriously, the last couple of mornings I've had to really think if Friday was a dream or reality. I'm so excited. But the more I think about it the more nervous I get.

Anyway, Friday night Joey and I went out to celebrate. We ate like KINGS at Hikari. We started with a California roll for our appetizer and both ordered filet and lobster for our entrees. We also got a bottle of plum wine sake and a big bottle of beer to split. So needless to say, dinner was fulfulling and fun - haha. After that we went next door from our house to Loose Caboose and gambled and drank some more. We figured it out today that between the two of us, we could have walked out of there with like $100 more than we started with AND made Joey's money back that he spent on dinner. We were both up ALOT but the alcohol apparently kicked in and we didn't make the smart decisions to walk away from gambling while we were ahead. Oh well, we had alot of fun so whatever - it's just money, right? Saturday I worked for 4 hours, since I was gonna go into overtime if I worked a full shift, and then we babysat his nephew for a few hours. We took him out to the pool and played for like an hour. It was really fun. Then we just hung out at the house all night and I eventually passed out at like midnight. Today we had a great day. We got up, went to church, and then went to see Miami Vice. It was really good but it totally reminded me of Bad Boys. I'd definitely recommend the movie though. Now we're just chilling at home. Joey's watching F1 racing and I'm trying to find free stuff on the Internet for my classroom. Tomorrow I'm going to sign my contract (yay!!!), get fingerprinted, and apply for my Nevada license. I'm supposed to work, but since I have 52 hours of personal/sick time to use over the next month before I quit, I think I may call in (cough, cough - lol).

Welp, I'm going to go cuddle with my honey and my dog. Have a good night!!! :)
