Today I went to an all day session to fill out all my benefit forms and other various stuff and I also received half of my signing bonus!!! Yay!!!! Everyone gets their bonus in October, but if you joined the teachers union and the schools credit union, they gave you a voucher for half of the bonus. I'm so excited. Now I just have to save it and not think of it as shopping money!!!
On my way home I ran into HELLA traffic and I wanted to die. I probably had less than a 10 mile drive home and it took me well over an hour. I was so pissed. So I realized how incredibly lucky I am to work two minutes from home and not have to deal with traffic. That would suck royally.
