Joey and I went out Friday night, for the first time in a while, and managed to drink alot and come home with $20 more than we started with. We went to a low key bar for his friend Ari's birthday and I decided to play $20 in video poker while I was waiting for my drink. Within 5 minutes, I had doubled my money so I cashed out. Then later in the evening, I did the same thing and won $30 after getting 4 jacks so I cashed out again. It was the easiest $50 I ever made!!! So we were laughing on the way home because we kept buying drinks and shots for Ari and his girlfriend and a few other people but in reality we didn't spend any money! I love that about Vegas hahahahaha.
Today we had movie night and went to see You, Me and Dupree. The movie was really cute and I would recommend it. Movie night is really cute actually. When Joey was young, his dad used to take him to see movies and they'd sneak in sandwiches and eat them during the show. Well they still do this and now I'm part of the gang. So we always go to Quiznos and get sandwiches and then eat them during the show. And that's what we did today. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon!
I've enjoyed my 3 days off and now it's back to work tomorrow. I have to do a birthday party tomorrow morning for 13 girls and they're all gonna walk out of there looking like rockstars. The parties are very cute and the girls always love them. It's a perfect opportunity for me to practice being a teacher :) This week is gonna be easy too. I work tomorrow, have Tuesday off, then work the rest of the week and get out early on Saturday for my big BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!! I'm so excited. Joey found out that because we are guests at TI, our entire party gets on the guestlist for Tangerine and we don't have to pay cover OR stand in line. That's the best part, I think. I HATE HATE HATE standing in line. So I think so far there's like 15 people coming to celebrate and I cannot wait. I can't wait to see what all Joey's been secretly planning. It's been so fun watching him be sneaky and it'll be even more fun when I find out what it all is!
