I am no longer unemployed

So I know I will forever be made fun of this, but I got a job today at Kohls. YES KOHLS. I told my mom yesterday what Missy said to me and she cracked up. Missy said "You move to fabulous Las Vegas and the first job you get is at Kohls." Missy and I were discussing this and we suppose that a stripper in Vegas would be cooler, but I would never ever ever do that. Although I know a few people out here that do and they make FAT cash. hmmmm ;)

Anyway the manager I had my interview today with was really cool and most of the other employees that I met were really nice so hopefully I can make some friends there. I'm so excited to get a discount but I am giving my word that I will control my shopping there since I am basically just working enough hours to pay my bills and have a little extra cash. So next week on Monday I have to go for orientation. I never ever thought I would say this, but it will actually be nice to have to get up and go to work!

So yesterday I went hiking again at Red Rock. I have decided that I need to do that more often. We went with 3 other people and it was tons of fun. We hiked for like an hour and climbed all the way to the top of one of the "little" mountains. I was so scared I was gonna step on a snake but all we saw were some little geckos. And I fell. It was quite funny actually. We were climbing down and the rock path was slippery and I fell flat on my butt!!! Oh I did learn an interesting fact though about the donkeys. Apparently the girls are jennies and the boys are jacks. So is that where we get the term "jackass"? I just think it's funny that they pick the boy name to go with that term...
