Well first thing to report is that it SNOWED all day today. Yes, you read that right, snowed. It was crazy. It was freezing this morning and raining a little bit when I was on my way into work. By the time I picked up my kids outside to start the school day, it was a steady downpour of huge white fluffy snowflakes. It was crazy! I took my kids outside for a few minutes to play (even tho none of it was stuck on the ground) and that was enough. They were going crazy!
This weekend was pretty fun. Friday night I stayed in and it was wonderful. I was feeling under the weather so I just rested and watched sappy love story movies. Saturday morning I woke up cured (peroxide in the ears is a miracle!) and went out and ran some errands before dinner. We had dinner with two of Pat's client's at N9NE and it was AWESOME. I miss that place. After dinner Pat and I went up to Ghost Bar for a cocktail and had planned on heading back to his place to make a big gingerbread house. Well, we didn't make it past Rain when we realized that Paul Oakenfold, a well known dj, does his show there on Saturday nights. So, we decided to go in a take a look. It was so empty when we walked in, and still pretty empty when we left (considering what it is normally like in there!). The show was really REALLY weird. I seriously felt like I was in an alien movie on drugs. It was all house music and they had these robot looking guys walking around on stilts with laser beam gloves. Then they had three women doing like trapese acts from the ceiling over the dance floor. Then it snowed inside the club. Then the go-go dancers came out in these really weird outfits, also with laser beam gloves. Finally, along with the go-go dancers were these guys up on the platforms, dressed kind of like weird robots, holding an alien head and one of their arms was like a huge slinky. I'm telling you it was the weirdest thing I have ever experienced but it was really entertaining! After Rain, we went to Taco Bell (yessssssssss) and picked up Majik and came over my house. Pat fell asleep in his usual place on the floor in the living room and Maj and I slept in my room. She did eat the corner of my pillow, which I had a feeling would happen, but it's nothing I can't replace. the morning was quite funny when I went downstairs because there was taco bell spread all over the island and shot glasses and open vodka too. hahahahaha Needless to say yesterday was spent in bed all day. I kinda like days like that!
Tonight I start my third course in my masters. Should be easy. And there was no homework due tonight. Woot! I got my second A in my last class so I'm on my way to a 4.0! Go me!
