I had one of the best Thanksgiving's ever. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard for so long. The entire time through dinner everyone just kept laughing. To be honest, I can't even remember what we were laughing about but whatever it was it was freaking hilarious. So I didn't end up baking an apple pie because everyone I talked to about it told me that it was a pain in the butt. My mom suggested that I just buy one. So that's what I did. No one even ended up eating dessert anyway. Mark and some of the guys were having dinner at Pat's house so we hung out with them for a bit before going to his parents house. It was raining all day long too, which was really weird. The guys decided to deep fry the turkey and it was really funny watching them get it all together outside in the rain. We got to Pat's mom's house around 3 and stayed until after 10. It didn't seem that long at all. I helped the ladies with some of the side dishes and volunteered to peel the potatoes, to be sure that there was an abundance :) Dinner was awesome, as always. I almost cried when we sat down because Pat's dad told me that he was really happy that I was there with them and that they really like me alot. It was the cutest thing ever. It's cute for a dad to say that, but it's super cute when it's a dad that doesn't really say much otherwise. It meant alot to me. I love his family so much and I'm so glad that they've embraced me like they have. I feel like I have a family here and it makes the holidays, especially, not as hard being away from my own family.
