Icky Day

Ugh, today was just all wrong for multiple reasons. I fell asleep last night at like 9 and when I woke up I was TOTALLY confused. It took me a bit to understand what was going on and what time it was when my alarm went off. Then I rushed to get ready so I could make myself eggs and veggies for breakfast. This shit is getting old - FAST. It was so much easier when I could throw and english muffin in the toaster and go out the door. Plus, I dropped some stuff off to Pat because he didn't have anything for breakfast and I backed out of going over there last night so I wasn't there this morning to make breakfast. Needless to say, I was annoyed at being rushed AND I was late to school by 5 minutes. Normally, that's not a big deal but we had a staff meeting today so I felt like a total ass walking in late. Not to mention that the door to the library was locked so I had to knock on the door to get in. Ugh. Then they informed me that although it was not my track's day to get pictures taken, they wanted the staff to so that they could put our pictures up on the wall. Well I was not in the mood to get my picture taken so I didn't do it. I hope I don't get in trouble. THEN, they also told me that I need to go a training for our writing program since I'm not familiar with it. Normally trainings suck but they're no big deal but this one especially sucks because a) it's about writing and writing is BORING and b) it's the same day I start my master's program. So, that means I will be sitting in a classroom ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. KILL ME.

To top my day off, I had to converse with two sets of parents today because their kids are stupid. Not literally. One kid has been lying to me telling me he's been doing his homework and assignments and I have nothing turned in of his. His dad told me today that he's been telling them that he has no homework. LIAR! I love catching kids like that. They think they are so sneaky. The other kid just drives me bananas and I don't know what to do with him. He can't sit still, he constantly talks, and is always getting into mischief. However, he's extremely smart. Maybe I just need to keep him busy.

Now I'm home and all I can think about is how bad I want a sandwich or something with carbs. I just had celery sticks and peanut butter for a snack. Pat won't be home for another 3 hours, which means my tummy has to rumble until then. Blah. I better look like a freaking super model by the time this crap is over with!
