As embarassing as this is, I am totally into Snoop Dogg's new TV show "Fatherhood." I caught the end of an episode last week, not even knowing he had a show, and really didn't think much of it. Then, yesterday Pat and I lounged for the better part of the day and we ended up watching a small marathon of the show and we were CRACKING up. Snoop is hilarious and his kids are hilarious too.
This weekend we really didn't do a whole lot. Since I'm not getting paid until after we get back from LA, I needed to save my money. Friday night Jodi and I stayed in, did our nails, and watched "License to Wed" with Mandy Moore and Robin Williams. It was really funny. It was a great chick flick. Saturday I met Pat down at one of the casinos to watch some football and have some cocktails. We had to go to Palace Station to place a different bet that they didn't have at the casino we were at, and Pat's dad hooked us up for dinner (I guess he basically runs that casino). Well we took FULL advantage of that. I ordered the surf and turf and Pat ordered the whole entire lobster. He picked it out of the tank (which made me feel REALLY bad when they brought him out cooked) and of course he picked the biggest one in there. When we saw our bill, I about died. Pat's lobster would have normally cost $181. Isn't that insane?! For a freaking lobster! We had a good laugh about that one! After dinner, we headed back to my place so I could pick up some things and actually ended up staying here with Jodi. I love hanging out with both of them. It's so fun to have one of your best friends and your boyfriend enjoy hanging out together. Sunday I managed to peel myself out of bed only long enough to go have lunch with Pat's family since his one sister was leaving to go back to college. His family is hilarious. On Wednesday we're going to his one sister's house, Helen's, for dinner. I'm excited for that.
I didn't think I'd be working this week, since I wasn't technically supposed to, but the teacher that was supposed to teach this stupid academy this week bailed and so did Mike. So now I got stuck doing it. I only wanted to work Tues-Thurs but Mike wussed out and he's only teaching Friday so I can go to LA. Gee, thanks. It's ok though because I could really use the money.
Well that's about all I have to write about for now.
