Happy New Year

I am just exhausted. I have literally been on the go for the last week. My brother was here for a week and we had a blast. New Years was really fun and I'm glad we didn't go down to the strip. Instead, we had a nice dinner at Pat's and then all headed to Red Rock. Red Rock was fun, but I was a little disappointed when the bar we were in didn't count down to midnight. They just passed out champagne and at midnight, they played the New Years song. But whatever. We still had fun. New Years day my brother and I went to pick up my aunt at her hotel and hang out with some of my cousins. It was really fun to hang out with all of them since I don't see them very often. My aunt then came and stayed a few days with us at my apartment. I love having visitors :)

Saturday night Jodi came home and I was really excited. It's been two weeks since we've really hung out. I went home for a week and the day after I got back, she went home. So I picked her up from the airport and then we joined Pat and some friends at Jet. I'd never been there before and I really liked it! We had a table and I swear I was going to drop kick our hostess. She kept rubbing her boobs all over Pat while I was sitting right there. Now normally I'm not that jealous of a girlfriend but it's not a pleasant sight to see when another bitch is flirting with your man right in front of you. Ugh, she was so annoying. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. Jodi and I danced our asses off. I have some really cute pictures and I PROMISE I will get those and Christmas ones posted like I said before.

I'm regretting the decision to work this week. I still have three weeks left of my track break but I am teaching a math and literacy academy all this week. It's really easy and all of my lesson plans are done for me, but it just SUCKS to have to get up in the morning and work. Vacation is so wonderful and I get spoiled really fast not working. I look forward to the day when I don't have to work anymore!!!!!
