Last night Jodi, Pat, and I had an absolute BLAST. Jodi left for a week for Michigan today so I wanted to stay home and spend some time with her. I cooked dinner and she stopped on the way home from work to pick up some wine. After long conversations, we invited Pat over for dinner and it just turned into such a fun evening. Between the three of us we consumed four bottles of wine, which led to some HILARIOUS conversations. Who knew that doing nothing could be so much fun? Jodi hadn't packed yet either so she did the most amazing drunk pack ever. She took everything from the washer (yes the washer) and dryer and shoved it in her suitcase. She told me today that when she woke up this morning she opened her suitcase and there was the most random things inside. I would have loved to see that!!!!! Oh man, I just can't stop laughing thinking about everything last night. I haven't had that much fun in awhile.
Wait. Yes I have. Last weekend we went to Revolution Lounge at Mirage for Jodi's birthday. We'd only been there once and it's like a club, but more laid back. It was the most random thing ever that we picked that place too. Pat came over earlier in the day and we were talking about where to go and he suggested it. So he called and booked a table. By the time the night was over, we had all consumed 3 bottles and had the most horrific tab ever. It was worth ever penny though. Everyone that went said they had such a great time. Jodi had such a great time that she spent the entire next day in my bed watching movies with me and couldn't even pick her head up to take a drink of water.
I'm so excited to have a long weekend. I LOVE Thanksgiving. I can't wait to shove my face with turkey all the fixings. I haven't had that in soooooooooooo long. Pat's family has graciously invited me over for thanksgiving dinner. It'll be nice to spend the holiday with his family because they are hilarious and remind me alot of mine. :)
