I have developed a slight obsession to Guitar Hero. I don't know what to do. Pat came by last Friday before we all went out and showed up with a surprise. He bought me the guitar AND Guitar Hero II. He's the best. We've been playing with Jodi's "borrowed" guitar, but she has to give it back soon. Now we have our own!!! Last weekend Jodi's sister and her bff came to visit and we played all weekend long. Actually last weekend was a super time. Friday night we went to LAX. The club wasn't as packed as I thought. We had a table so that made it much better to be able to sit down and not be jam packed. We danced until our feet almost fell off. of course we stopped at Roberto's on the way home and ate delicious bean and cheese burritos. Yum. Saturday we ate dinner at Dicks Last Resort for Bob's birthday. I've only been to one of those places once in Miami and I forgot how much fun it was. They treat you like total dicks but it's hilarious. We had a great time. Afterward, we went to Tryst. I HATE Tryst. It was such a pain in the ass to get into for some reason and everyone was acting like jerks. I was so annoyed. It pretty much ruined my night. Once we finally got in, we found everyone else and hung out. I was totally not feeling it at all so I left with Jodi and the girls. The night quickly turned around as Jodi's alter ego Judi came out. She was so lit and it was HILARIOUS. I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life. We stopped at Taco Bell - yes unhealthy greasy mexican food two nights in a row! - and had a fantastic time in the drive through.
Sunday night we went to see Blue Man Group. OMG that is the best show ever. We had a BLAST. It is the most jacked up show and at some points I had no idea what was going on, but it was still so cool. The special effects were awesome. And whoever thinks up that kind of stuff is a genious. I don't wanna say too much because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. I would highly recommend it though.
I'm so glad that it's the weekend again already. I've had such a crappy week and I'm so glad it's over. School is seriously stressing me out this year :(
