I have just now decided that coming home and taking your shoes off after a long day of work is one of the greatest feelings. Especially when you're wearing heels. Today kicked off a week filled with gorgeous weather. I think it was about 75 today and not a cloud in the sky. The rest of the week is going to be the same if not a little warmer. So, I decided to get out my open toed shoes. Big mistake. My feet hurt so bad today. I swear, why can't they make women's heels COMFORTABLE?! It's almost impossible to look cute and be comfortable. You must trade one for the other. I would wear a skirt tomorrow but my legs are so dang white that they will probably glow. I can't wait for track break in three weeks so I can plant my ass at the pool everyday. Ahhhhhh.
On that note, my mom just informed me that it is supposed to be 9 degrees tonight in Michigan. Wtf is up with that? I'm really looking forward to coming home this weekend, but I am NOT looking forward to freezing my buns off. I will be bundled like a newborn baby. Jackie just informed me that Steve won 9th row tickets to see JT. Let me tell you first how incredibly jealous I am. That would be my dream to go see JT that close. He would definitely pull me up on stage and propose marriage. haha kidding. I wish so bad I could go with her, but the whole point of me going home this weekend is to go to the concert with my brother. So, that's what I'm going to do. That doesn't mean we can't all hang out together though! :)
Hmmm, what else? I had a pretty decent weekend. Saturday I had to get up super early to go to a math training class. The class was actually pretty interesting so it wasn't too horrible to be there all day, especially since I was being paid some pretty good money to be there. That's always good motivation. After class, Joey and I met my cousins at the MGM. They were in town to see Bob Seger's concert Sat night. So we had a few drinks with them and then headed home to watch movies. I fell asleep hella early that night. Sunday I slept in and met my cousins again. Joey and I took them to Red Rock to see the mountains and do a small little hike. It was beautiful outside yesterday! We were almost done driving the loop when all these cars were stopped by the side of the road. I was wondering what was going on and then I saw about 10 wild donkeys chillin. They were actually walking up to peoples' cars and checking things out.! We all got out of the car and I pet one. It was funny.
Now I have to get through 4 more days until I go home. This week is going to be so hectic. Tomorrow I have an hour long meeting after school, Wed I have tutoring for an hour, Thursday I'm out at a training all day and then I have a new teacher training for 3 hours AFTER school, and Friday I come home. Whew!
