On my way to achieving one of my new years resolutions

One of my New Years resolutions was to have a new car at some point this year. I didn't expect to fulfil that resolution so fast. Last Friday I got a call from my insurance company telling me that they were going to deem my car a total loss. At first I was really upset about it because this is not the time for me to shell out money for a new car. But now, I'm looking at the bright side. I've been checking out some dealerships out here for a car since there aren't too many used cars that I have found that I could pay cash for. Of course, now that I've looked at new cars, I'm totally stoked on wanting one. I think I can do it, especially because I'm getting a nice chunk of change back from my insurance. I should have done somersalts when the insurance lady called me because I thought for sure I would have to battle with them to give me a decent amount. Right off the bat she offered me alot more than I would have argued for and that didn't even include some of the repairs and add-ons I've done to the car. WOOHOO! So, I'm pretty sure I'm getting a new one, I just have to narrow it down and decide which one I want. I'm so excited! I haven't had a new car since I was 18!
