Healthy Wife: Incredible Weekend

I don't even know where to start. This past weekend was one of the best weekends I've ever had. I went to San Diego with absolutely no expectations. I just wanted to have fun and hang out with Tom. We've been talking on the phone every night for the past 3 weeks or so and I wanted to hang out with him more before we decided if we were going to try dating. Well, the weekend just blew me away. Friday night I flew in and he picked me up from the airport. It was a little awkward at first just because we've only looked at each other once but I think that faded quickly. His friend and girlfriend went with us to eat sushi at this really cool place in Old Town. So we drank some saki bombs and ate like kings and queens. It was awesome. We were all so tired that at the end of dinner we pretty much went our separate ways. Tom and I stayed up pretty late talking and hanging out. It was so fun to have a conversation and be able to look at him! haha. So Saturday morning we got up at a fairly decent time and headed down to an overlook point on the beach. It was so awesome. I love the beach so much. It was awesome weather too, 70's, sun shining, so it just looked like heaven. After the beach we headed over to the SD zoo and had an AWESOME time. I love the zoo. I haven't been to one in a while and it's a totally different experience when you are an adult. We covered most of the zoo, which is HUGE by the way, and were completely exhausted at the end. On the way to his place, we stopped to watch the sun set. I love watching the sun set! Afterward, we stopped at an authentic Mexican market to pick up some stuff and then he cooked me dinner. OMG it was soooooooooo good. It is so freakin awesome when a guy cooks for you! Not to mention to me it's a total turn on. Anyway, so after dinner we got cleaned up and headed downtown to go ice skating. They had an outdoor rink right smack in the middle of downtown. It was really cute. So we got our skates on and had a great time. It was quite romantic, actually. I was pretty impressed, because Tom did exceptionally well :) After skating, we pretty much called it a night and went back to his place to watch a movie. Sunday we got up a little later and met his mom in San Clemente for lunch. She was the cutest thing ever. He has a kick ass relationship with his mom, which I find a HUGE plus since you can tell alot by how a boy will treat you when you look at how he treats his mom. Anyway, we had a fabulous lunch and then shopped the streets during their little street fair. In the afternoon, we took a drive around San Clemente where he showed me where he lived and stopped once again by the beach. The sun was just starting to set and it was so beautiful. I could watch that every night!!!! Then we took a drive up the coast and ended up in Laguna Beach. It was pretty cool since I am a gigantic nerd and watched that show on MTV. It's really a cute little town!! But I can imagine it is EXTREMELY expensive. For the rest of the evening we drove back to SD and hung out a little at his place before he took me to the airport. It sucked so bad to get out of his car at the airport. I wanted to stay so bad but I couldn't with all the crap that's going on at school this week. But I can honestly say that without a doubt that was the best weekend EVER. We clicked so well and I can't wait to see him again!!! :)

Also on a good note....my report cards are D-O-N-E and the only remaining thing left this week that I am dreading is going to a stupid seminar for 3 hours on Thursday night. I'm so relieved that I am done with those stupid report cards. It's such a pain in the ass!!!! So now I am going to sit back and RELAX and drink a beer. I think I deserve it!
