Finally Motivated

Well I worked out today. I'm so proud of myself! Joey and I decided we are going to work out together every other day so today was day #1. My arms already hurt. I hope that I see good results quickly because if not, I won't be motivated at all, especially after a long day at school. My kids are totally draining!!!! Yesterday Joey brought in McDonald's for the "best" boy and "best" girl, picked by me of course based on their assignments all being turned in, always staying on task and doing as I ask all the time. Their faces were so cute when I announced who I picked. Anyway, so we ate lunch together in my room and then Joey stayed the rest of the afternoon. The girls were all over him. It was pretty funny. They were all asking when we were getting married and if they could be in the wedding. Joey and I just looked at each other like what the heck. It was cute though. So he read some scary stories to the kids and then we both helped them in writing their own scary stories. I remember in 5th grade my teacher had us do this around Halloween and it was one of my favorite activities in Elementary school. Of course it's a little different now because the kids can ABSOLUTELY NOT write about anything violent. I'm sure there were those kinds of rules when I was in school but it's obviously elevated these days with all of the crazy school shootings and crap going on. But, it's a good thing for many reason that they can't write about that and one of them is that it's forcing them to get really creative. I'm looking forward to reading them around Halloween!

Last night we went to Cecilia's house (other 4th grade teacher) and had dinner and hung out with her family. She has two little girls - Alanna 4 and Teagan 1. They are so cute. Gosh I can't wait to be a mom. I think I should stop right there :)

Today we're going to the UNLV game and meeting up with Tiffany and Dan. I'm looking forward to it because I haven't seen them in a really long time. It's weird that Tiff and I saw each other almost every day this summer working together and now we don't see each other that often. I haven't even seen her little puppy yet! Hopefully I will soon.

Well, that's about it for now. Time to shower and get ready for the game :)
