It's the weekend!!!!!!!

I am so excited it's the weekend - FINALLY!!!!! I feel like this week has gone by sooooo slow!!!! I looked at my timecard at work today and over the course of the past two days I have worked 22 hours. Pretty sweet huh? We had all the big people at Justice (President, VP, Director of Marketing, etc.) come in for a visit this morning so the last two days we all busted our butts trying to get everything perfect. And of course when they came in today, they stayed for only like 15 minutes. But whatever. At least the store looks nice! haha.

This morning all of the teachers in my school met at the newest casino in Vegas called Red Rock Casino. It is very close to Red Rock Canyon (hence the name, duh) and it is SUPER nice. When I walked in I felt like I was in the Ritz or something. We all met in the ballroom for a staff meeting and then some people from the casino came in and talked with us. Btw, Red Rock is our school's sponsor. So anyway, they told us that each classroom would be adopted by a different group within the casino and they will help us with supplies and other things we need. THEN, they proceeded to tell us that they have filled 30 of the giant rubbermaid bins with school supplies for us!!!! That is so awesome! And at the meeting I met all of the other 4th grade teachers and they are really cool. I have a feeling I will fit in well with my group and they will be alot of help. They're a very close group and they have each other's back so I'm really looking forward to working with them. Let me just say as a side note that I am SOOOOO happy that I don't have to start school until September 18. I would absolutely die right now if my kids came Wednesday like the other track schedules. I can't imagine what all of the other new teachers must be feeling right now. It must be completely overwhelming!!!!!

Tonight Joey's nephew is spending the night. We're about ready to go and put together a Star Wars puzzle. I just made them grilled cheese sandwiches and we are all just going to relax and have fun in the house tonight. I love nights like this. As much as I love going out, I absolutely LOVE staying home, relaxing with my man and my dog (and in this instance tonight with Vincinzo too!). Tomorrow will be a busy day! I have to get up at the crack of dawn and go to the district office to get my TB test (ouch!) and then I have to work from 9-1. Then I'm gonna come home, bake Joey's birthday cake, and then we are meeting a bunch of friends and family at Hikari for dinner. From there, we will see what everyone wants to do. But whatever it is, it'll be fun cuz it's MY BABY'S BIRTHDAY!!!! YAY! :) And, I'm really looking forward to Sunday because I have the day off! I plan on lounging all day, then I think Joey and I are going to dinner at this Italian restaurant that his friend works at (best Italian food in Vegas!) and then we are going to see a show, which is a surprise from his sister and her bf.
