Talladega Nights

I just went to a sneak preview of this movie at the Palms and it was HILARIOUS!!!! Oh my gosh you guys all have to go see this movie when it comes out. I laughed so much. I don't think it has very many one-liners like alot of Will Ferrell movies do, but it was still really funny. It had an awesome cast too. Molly Shannon from SNL played a drunk wife of the owner of the racing team and she played a hilarious part. And, even though he tends to annoy me after a while, Ali G was in it too. Some parts he was in were a little off the wall, but he played a good character too. Overall I would DEFINITELY give this movie a thumbs up and I would totally recommend it!!! :)

I had a pretty low key weekend. I worked (of course - what else do I do?!) all weekend and so did Joey so we didn't go out and do anything. Then Sunday was his dad's 75th birthday so we had a little surprise party for him at Joey's sisters house. It went over really well even though I missed half of it because I was working. I had planned on closing the store like 15 minutes early, but of course after not having ONE customer in the store for like an hour, a mom and daughter decide to come in 20 minutes before 6 and took their sweet old time shopping. Ugh, I get so irritated at that!!! So needless to say I was not able to close early. And my drawer was $10 short, which makes me super paranoid and now I think someone in my store is stealing because everytime we are short it's by a bill - like $5, $10, and even $20! People are so dumb I swear. Oh good news about work! My store mgr put in her two weeks notice last week and informed me today that she is authorized to give up to 10% raises and therefore she is giving me a raise before she leaves! YAY!!! I'm pretty excited about that. Actually I'm super excited about that.

Well I think that's about all the news I have for now. One more day of work and then I get two whole days off - woohoo!!!
