I am never drinking again (part two)

I have decided that hangovers are the worst feelings in the WORLD. Friday night Joey and I went to see Jerry Seinfeld and it was so fun. Our seats were awesome!!!!! We were so close. There was some other comedian that played prior to Seinfeld and he was pretty funny. But nothing compared to the comedy of Jerry. He made some of the funniest points ever and it felt so good to laugh like that. After the show, we ate dinner at some fancy restaurant in Ceasar's in the Forum Shops. I think it was called Spago's but I was a little tipsy by then so I don't really remember. We ordered shrimp cocktail as our appetizer and I swear to you they were lobster tails. They were HUGE. And very yummy. Oh and after that we thought it would be fun to check out Pure (nightclub in Ceasar's) since the guy at the door gave us two VIP passes but it was impossible to get in. We walked up and were like we have VIP passes so where do we go? And they were like oh just stand over here in this line - with 500 other people. So basically it just put you in a different line to get in. NO THANKS. It would have been fun to check out the INSIDE of the club but I absolutely hate hate hate hate hate waiting in line. Oh well. So we had an excellent time seeing the show and an excellent (and extremely expensive!!!) dinner. However, at about 5am the following morning, I was beginning to hate the fact that I drank any alcohol that night. I must have tried to throw up at least 4 times and once almost started laughing because I felt like Lloyd in Dumb and Dumber dry heaving. (I did that before at Missy's and was laughing and then I threw up and then I cried - haha) Hangovers suck, that's for sure, but they suck even worse when you have to actually get up out of bed and do something that day. And I did. I had Joey's nephew's bday party and I wanted to D-I-E. Once I got there I started to feel a little better, but I still felt crappy when I got home. The party overall was really fun and cute. He's a HUGE Star Wars fan (and yes he's only 3!!!) so we got him all kinds of cool Star Wars toys and that's all he wanted to play with - nah nah. Sunday I just lounged all day at the pool and worked on a killer tan. I love hot weather. However now it is starting to get super duper hot. In fact, the forecast for the next seven days is higher than 100 degrees. Guess I am starting to really get a feel for the true summers of Las Vegas. But hey, I'll take this over freezing and snow ANYDAY!!!!

Hmmm, what else is new???? I found out that starting today is the official hiring season for the 2006-2007 school year here in Vegas. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get called soon. I feel like if/when I sign that contract for teaching, a HUGE weight will be lifted off my shoulders in more ways than one. I think it will definitely make going to work at stupid Kohl's everyday a little easier because I'll KNOW that I'm not stuck there forever. Even though everyone I talk to here says I will definitely get a job for next year, it's still "fear of the unknown". So we shall see. Gotta go - Deal or No Deal is on - my favorite!!! haha :)
