Well I can't think of a clever title for this post so I guess it will go untitled. I'm still in Vegas having tons of fun. New Years was AWESOME. We went down to the strip, first to the Hard Rock. We met some friends there and just hung out. I met one of Joey's friends who is a teacher and she's gonna help me out when i start teaching. She gave me some good inside tips and stuff which was really nice. About 20 minutes before midnight, we walked down to the strip which is a ways, for those of you who have been here. I'm so glad I wore tennis shoes!!!! We made it down to the strip just in time for the countdown. I have never seen so many people gathered in one place in my life. They block off LV Blvd and it is just PACKED with people. So the billboards on some of the casinos were counting down to midnight and when the clock struck 12, they light off tons of fireworks from the roofs (is that gramatically correct?) and it lasted for like 10 minutes!!!!! It was very cool and definitely an experience I will NEVER forget. But let me say this that it was VERY weird watching the ball drop in Times Square on tv and not shouting HAPPY NEW YEAR. It was only 9:00 here! And by the time midnight happened here, I would say that most if not all the people I would call to wish a happy new year would have already been passed out by then. haha. But all in all, it was a GREAT new years.
