Weekend Update

Ok so I thought after writing about the dreaded ex's wedding this past weekend, I would update to tell you how it went! We were almost late for the ceremony because Shawn takes FOREVER to get ready! We literally walked in the church 1 minute before the ceremony was to begin. And all of her family was ecstatic to see Shawn. Whatever. So the ceremony began and I was waiting for someone to cry or show just the least bit emotion. NOTHING! It was seriously the most unemotional wedding I have ever been to! I didn't even feel like I was at a wedding! It was really weird! So fast forward to the reception. We got there about 45 minutes early because we had no where else to go since we were far from home. Thankfully they had a little hangout place with a TV, boche ball, ping pong, etc for us to go. So we walked in and everyone started talking to Shawn. I felt a little uncomfortable at first but then it wasn't so bad. Oh and I looked smokin that night too ;). Anyway, we started talking to this guy (his wife was in the bridal party) that Shawn used to hang out with when he dated the bride. He was nice, but he didn't shut up the WHOLE NIGHT! AND we were seated at the same table! The food was really good and so was the cake. And apparently the drinks were too because before the dancing even started, the bride was WASTED! After about an hour of dancing she went up to every single person sitting down and SCREAMED at them to get up and dance. It was really annoying and I almost felt bad for her because she looked like such a jackass! We just igorned her and Shawn kept saying "I'm so glad I found you!". It was sweet. So all in all it wasn't a bad night. It wasn't as weird as I thought it would be. And it was nice that Shawn kept reminding me how much he loved me and was so happy we found each other!!! :)
