Just because

Well, I haven't posted on my blog in a REALLY long time. I guess I suck. I'm sitting here bored at work because my dad left to go golfing and it's only 12:15. Maybe I should take up a summer sport so I can have an excuse to leave work every once in a while!!! Now I'll be sitting here for 5 more hours staring at the wall because it is SO SLOW today! Lord help me.

Anyway, so what's new in my life? Hmmmm let's see. Well my friends seem to be doing really well! Chrissy is moving to Florida soon until at least December. I know she's bummed about leaving and living with her grandparents, but I think she will eventually like it, especially when it starts to get cold here and she can still walk around in shorts and flip flops!!! I'm going to miss her lots, but that just means that I'll have to go visit her :) Missy is doing awesome now. She has a new beau and apparently he is awesome. I'm REALLY happy for her that she finally found someone that she has things in common with and that treats her like a princess. She really deserves someone like Joe and I can't wait to meet him!!! My other friend Crystal is getting married in three weeks! I can't believe it. She's been engaged for like 3 or 4 years already so there has been alot of anticipation for her wedding. It's going to be a blast! Now I just have to organize her bachelorette party and we'll be all set! I'm having it at my house and Shawn is freaking out because I'm kicking him out for the night and there will be like 20 women at my house! HAHA! Too bad Crystal doesn't want a stripper! JK.

So tomorrow we are going to Shawn's ex's wedding. I really don't want to go, but we have to since we already RSVP'd. I just think it's going to be super weird. And I'll probably feel stupid just because I know all her friends and family are going to talk to Shawn and I'll be standing there like a bump on a log. I just have to make sure I look hot tomorrow night so that all her friends and family will see what he moved on to something better! haha. I'm kidding. No actually I'm not ;)

Hm, what else? Oh our Vegas trip is coming up in about 5 weeks. I CANNOT WAIT!!!! It's going to be the sweetest vacation ever. Well hopefully it will be. I'm nervous about flying with Shawn's parents because they haven't been on a plane in probably 10-15 years at least!!! I talked to his mom last night and she was getting nervous because apparently Northwest maintenance workers are going on strike soon, which means they'll have to bring in scab workers. But they still know how to fix a plane so no biggie. I just hope that no one freaks out or pukes or anything. And I have to sit between Shawn and Kevin, which are the two horniest people I know so I hope that I don't get raped on the plane ride! LOL. Kevin will probably bring nudie mags or something so hopefully that will keep his mind occupied for awhile. I'm hoping to go to Vegas again with JD toward the end of July, but so far the chick that I emailed about it hasn't gotten back to me. Bummer. It would be a blast too because they usually stay at Mandalay Bay, which I've heard is sweet.

June 28 is only 3 weeks away. I can't believe that Shawn and I have been married almost 2 years already. It's crazy how fast time flies by. Everyone keeps bugging us about when we are having kids too and it's starting to get on my nerves. Sometimes I want to have one right now, but then other times I don't think I'm ready to give up sleeping in til noon on Saturdays and coming and going as I please. Enjoying life with Shawn right now is enough for me I think. Maybe I'll get the baby itch in a year or two. I asked Shawn the other day if he wanted to have a baby and all he said was "sure". So I'm not taking that as a good answer!!! Guess we'll wait.

Ok, well I can't think of anything else to write about and what I've written so far is pretty boring. Sorry to bore you. If I think of anything else exciting, I'll write more later. ADIOS! :)
